I Scraped two pages from the 4th of July, this is the first one.
We went to Civic Center Park to listen to music, eat good food, and watch fireworks. This was our first time at this location. Living in a big city there are at least 3 Shows within a 10 mile radius and they usually go on for a few days. Our first attempt to see fireworks (the day before) did not go well, it started poring down rain and the show was canceled.
This show was great, the fireworks went off to music, that synced up really well. Jordan suggested we try eating somewhere new which turned out to be the best new food we have had in a long time. The kids also got to meet the mascot to our soccor team (Morgan did not want to be in that picture). Look at the face she made every time someone got on the loud speaker.
