I got a thick blank journal for Christmas from my husband. The cover is just so beautiful and I couldn’t wait to use it, but I just wasn’t sure what to use it for. I already have a planner and plenty of places to write notes and lists on. So I thought I would use it as an art journal.
I had been telling my son to use his sketch book as an art journal and to watch videos on YouTube to get some ideas but he never did, so I thought maybe I should do it. I was pushing so hard for him to do it maybe I should have pushed myself to make one. I found a list of 365 art journal prompts and plan to do them all by the end of the year. Each prompt is just one word, it’s just like a starting point for those of us who are stuck on where to start or people new to art journaling.
